Appy JV

I think we all know they are currently in Region C. That wasn't the meaning behind the post.

One thing I do notice is that within the new district, all five schools will have middle school teams consisting of 7th and 8th graders, which should work well for each school in regards to participation. That was the reasoning behind my post - nothing more nothing less.

Like I said I kind of like the Idea and IMHO it would be nice if most local teams would cash in there JV teams for Middle school teams it would probably workout better

Most of GC's underclassmen are playing on Friday nights. The varsity lineup is predominately made up of sophomores and some juniors. There are freshmen seeing quite a bit of playing time too. I think GC has 1 senior starting on defense and 2-3 on offense, all are on the offensive and defensive lines.

Sounds like Clintwood 1 Senior on D and 2 on O replace Your Jrs with our Freshmen and we are about the same LOL

I know looking at the lineup early in the year Clintwood should return 10 Starters on D next year and return 10 again the year after

so Appalachia's jv team will be playing Gate City's middle school team tomorrow???(the game was moved up to wed. instead of thursday)
